The merchant fee your bank charges on card transactions. It applies on every platform, so it is also counted for the custom store.

Apps and other services
Add monthly subscriptions for apps and services. Services you keep after moving (e.g. email marketing, fiscalization, courier integrations) are counted on both sides.
Monthly maintenance of the custom store, if charged, plus any other new monthly costs after moving. The payment gateway, the bank fee, and Vercel Pro are calculated separately.
Up to €80,000 in yearly card sales, the payment gateway costs €380 per year + VAT. Above that, the yearly fee is dropped and 0.5% per transaction + VAT applies instead. The bank fee applies in both cases.
Vercel Pro (about $20/month)
Included automatically: the base plan costs $20 per month and includes $20 in usage credit. Higher usage or additional paid seats can increase the bill.

How to read the result
A comparison of recurring costs
The calculator adds up your subscription and maintenance, apps, the bank fee, the platform's additional fee, and your current gateway. For the custom store it counts the bank fee, the payment gateway fee, maintenance, apps you keep, and Vercel Pro at about $20 per month.
Every platform has a bank fee, so it is counted both before and after moving, on card sales only. The payment gateway is a separate cost: up to €80,000 in yearly card sales it costs €380 per year + VAT, and above that 0.5% per transaction + VAT.
Moving to a custom store removes the platform's additional fee, the subscription, and the apps you cancel. Apps you keep are counted on both sides.
Development and migration costs are not part of the monthly comparison. If you enter the development cost, the calculator shows how many months the savings take to pay it back.
